2-DAY DENIM SEWING WORKSHOP

Ready to take your sewing skills into denim?

In this two-part garment sewing workshop at La Paisa Studio, you'll work through the process of constructing your own denim piece over two evenings.

Denim takes time. Instead of rushing through a garment in one class, we'll use two sessions so you have time to learn the construction process, work through the details, and create something you're proud to wear.

Your registration includes both class dates.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Throughout the two sessions, we'll work on:

• Understanding your pattern and garment pieces
• Preparing and cutting denim
• Working with heavier-weight fabric
• Denim seam construction
• Topstitching techniques
• Using a serger to finish seams
• Garment assembly
• Waistband construction
• Hemming denim
• Pressing and finishing techniques

The goal is to leave the second class with a completed denim garment and a much better understanding of how denim garments are constructed.

SKILL LEVEL

Beginner+ / Intermediate

This is not an Intro to Sewing class.

You should already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine and sewing basic seams independently.

You do not need previous experience sewing denim or making advanced garments.

TWO-DAY CLASS

Your registration includes both:

DAY 1 — Thursday, October 22
6:00–9:00 PM

We'll focus on preparing the project, understanding construction, cutting, and beginning assembly.

DAY 2 — Thursday, October 29
6:00–9:00 PM

We'll continue construction, complete the garment, topstitch, hem, and work through finishing details.

Because this is one continuous project, students should plan to attend both sessions.

Please bring:

• Any hardware or special details required for your garment

We'll be working on the same project during both sessions, so keep all of your project pieces together and bring everything back for Day 2.

CLASS POLICY

All class purchases are final sale.

Because this is a two-part workshop, your registration reserves your spot for both class dates.

If you can no longer attend, please contact La Paisa more than 48 hours before the first class to request a one-time class credit. Credits are valid for 30 days and subject to availability.

Requests made within 48 hours of the first class and no-shows are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or credit.

Missing one of the two sessions does not qualify for a partial refund or credit.

Please arrive on time and ready to begin. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted.
